I’m looking for a low (H 12″-13″) table that I can use while sitting in the floor.
I’ve looked up furniture websites but most American coffee tables are significantly higher and uncomfortable to use as a result. There are smaller low tables for personal use like laptop desks, but I’d like one that is larger (at least 40″ in length and 24″ in width) so that multiple people can sit around the table. No budget restrictions, I’m just looking for quality that will last for years.
Preferably looking for medium-dark colored wood in a MCM style. Bonus if it has folding legs!
I’m open to custom work as well if anyone has recommendations for a reliable woodworking shop in the Austin, TX area.
